Please pray for Molly

You might have noticed I made a new button with grab box. My good friend from childhood is the mother of this precious girl. Molly was born with hydrocephalus and had surgery at two days old to put in a shunt. The swelling on her brain was quite severe and has hindered Molly's development. She has proven to be quite a fighter and you can read more of her story by clicking on her button.
I've been amazed at the friendship and support I've found in the blog world and would like to ask those of you so inclined to please stop and say a prayer for Molly. Her family really appreciates all the prayers. You can pray specifically that she will not suffer from spasms that interfere with the growth and develpment of her brain. You can also pray specifically that the visual center of her brain will grow and make connections so that her visual processing will improve; ie that she won't be blind.
Thank you for your prayers!!

  1. I am lifting this precious little one up in prayer as I type. I will pray also for peace to be on your sweet friend.

I'm an on-the-run mom to 6 kids who studied and taught exercise science in a previous life. I love all things running, nutrition, and health-related. I usually run at zero dark thirty in the morning and am often quite hungry before, during, and after my run, but I live a rich, full, blessed life with my children, family, and friends. My faith in God is my anchor, and looking to Him and His promises allows me to live fully even when life circumstances are difficult. While running gives me an appetite, my desire is to hunger and thirst for righteousness more than for physical food.
