Baby Lu giving her new baby doll a bottle

Baby Lu got a new baby doll and accessories for Christmas. Here she is giving her baby a bottle for the first time. What a proud little mother she is.

This is serious work, don't you know?

Wait a minute, is this right? Let me try it in her ear.

Do babies take bottles in their ears? Nooooooo!

Ok, back to business. But wait, let me just try something first.

Well, you can't blame a girl for trying.

You know this bottle feeding wouldn't be half bad if I could just find a comfortable place to do it.

That's better.

Much better.

I know there's something in there.

Maybe I had it turned the wrong way before.

Life is good.

  1. Oh.My.Goodness. TOO precious for words! I can certainly relate to trying to feed the baby through her ear. Sometimes us mommies will try anything.

  2. So adorable! I love the narrative, too. She is just so cute. I love how little girls just take to babies. And my little toddler guy couldn't care less about them. God makes them so different! Happy New Year to you all!

  4. I like this. My daughters look similar, except they are always trying to nurse their babies!

I'm an on-the-run mom to 6 kids who studied and taught exercise science in a previous life. I love all things running, nutrition, and health-related. I usually run at zero dark thirty in the morning and am often quite hungry before, during, and after my run, but I live a rich, full, blessed life with my children, family, and friends. My faith in God is my anchor, and looking to Him and His promises allows me to live fully even when life circumstances are difficult. While running gives me an appetite, my desire is to hunger and thirst for righteousness more than for physical food.
